About This Role

Provide oversight and management of the Biological and Agricultural Engineering teaching, research, and fabrication laboratories. The successful candidate must be willing to assist with applied field research projects. Additional responsibilities include the following:

• Ability to communicate with department, college and university clientele (including faculty and students).
• Ability to assist undergraduate and graduate students with research/design projects.
• Ability to manage inventories in BAE research fabrication area and BAE vehicle fleet.
• Ability to manage undergraduate labor.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to interact effectively with undergraduate and graduate students are desired.
  • Experience in utilization and application of computer aided design programs as well as be able to understand schematics and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge and proficient technical skills in operation of metal and wood shop equipment.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driving license upon employment.
