About This Role

This position reports to the Director of Facilities Management and will plan, organize, and direct the maintenance, repair and housekeeping areas for the Department of Housing and Dining Services.  Duties include management of the building repair and maintenance, dining repair and maintenance, and housekeeping work groups; management of multiple large and small construction, repair, and preventive maintenance projects to include coordination with outside regulatory agencies, contractors, consulting firms, and on-campus departments.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in construction science, management, engineering, architecture or related field
  • 6-10 years experience in building and/or mechanical trades at a University or similar environment
  • 5 years supervisory and project planning experience
  • Completion of K-State Pillars of Leadership training

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
  • Valid Driver's License upon employment

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range

$61,591-$80,000 annual
