The Kansas State University College of Education is seeking a highly skilled Budget/Fiscal Coordinator and HR Liaison to provide comprehensive support for human resources, data operations, and fiscal management. This role serves as an essential resource for faculty, staff, and student employees, ensuring the accurate processing of personnel transactions, payroll, compliance, recruitment, and performance management. The position will also support fiscal activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in both HR operations and financial processes.

Worksite Description

This position is hybrid eligible.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and five years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of work experience and education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and database programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and resolve problems.

Additional Role Information:

  • Must be eligible to become a notary public upon employment.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during shortened payroll cycles.

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
