The School of Health Sciences, within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is currently seeking a 12-month Clinical Assistant Professor to join their Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) program. This position will teach professional coursework, provide clinical teaching and supervision, contribute to the coordination of the CSD program, and contribute to the broader missions of the school and college. This non-tenure track position will report directly to the program chair.

This 12-month position at the rank of clinical assistant professor has a preferred starting date of August 2025, with a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) is the academic program for the profession of speech-language pathology. It is for students interested in human communication (speech and language, reading, writing, and hearing) and swallowing for individuals across the lifespan. The CSD program offers both undergraduate and graduate education for the profession of speech-language pathology. The goal of the CSD program is to graduate competent clinicians who are able to help children and adults with difficulties in any aspect of oral and written communication or swallowing. The master’s program in speech-language pathology is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
