About This Role

K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a Development Post Graduate Intern. This person will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Ahearn Fund, including, but not limited to: assisting with all aspects of the annual giving program, fundraising events, premium seating, capital campaigns, day-to-day operations of the development office, communication and graphic design, and other duties as assigned; evening and weekend work is required as well as some travel. This position will also work directly with other K-State Athletics administrators to get a full scope of the business operations of a Power 5, Division 1 intercollegiate athletics department where special projects will be assigned.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree by hire date
  • Minimum one year experience in intercollegiate athletics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer relations experience
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Athletics Development or External Athletics Operations

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
