The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering at Kansas State University is seeking a digital content specialist to develop and distribute content that promotes the college to prospective students and other external audiences. This position coordinates digital communications to ensure consistent, timely and strategic messaging across college and departmental websites, email, digital signage, social media and other digital channels that advance college programs and priorities.
As part of the Engineering Communications and Marketing team, the digital content specialist collaborates with partners across the college and university to coordinate messaging, maintain brand consistency and uphold high standards for external communications.
A successful digital content specialist will:
• Plan, develop and distribute digital content and communications for internal and external audiences.
• Maintain integrated content calendars and collaborate with college and department partners to identify communication needs, priorities and opportunities.
• Administer and maintain digital platforms, including college and departmental websites, ensuring content is accurate, accessible and consistent with university brand and communication standards.
• Contribute to social media planning and create, schedule and publish content across college social media platforms.
• Monitor and analyze website, email and social media performance to evaluate engagement and identify opportunities to improve digital communications.
