The Salina Aerospace Development Partnership (SADP) seeks an Executive Director to provide strategic collaboration between partners at the Salina Industrial Airport Center .

The Salina Aerospace Development Partnership (SADP) serves as the unified economic and business development arm for the Salina Airport Industrial Center. This strategic collaboration is designed to strengthen regional competitiveness, attract investment, and cultivate innovation-driven growth in aerospace and related industries.

Worksite Description

This position is Hybrid eligible.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in the following:
    • Economic development strategy, including business attraction, retention, and site development
    • Intergovernmental coordination and land use planning
    • Familiarity with municipal, county, and state-level economic development tools
    • Ability to enhance regional, national and global visibility of community assets and services
    • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Ability to leverage marketing and public relations to enhance regional visibility
    • Political acumen and diplomacy in navigating complex regulatory and organizational environments
    • Proven success in building consensus and leading cross-sector collaborations
