About This Role

Kansas State University's Aerospace and Technology Campus is seeking multiple part-time Certified Flight Instructors to join its growing team of aviation flight professionals! Certified Flight Instructors perform flight training of private pilot, instrument pilot, and commercial pilot students, ensuring consistent progress. This position teaches students to fly an aircraft safely and to the standards required for commercial or private flight.

These Flight Instructor positions are located near Olathe, KS, at the New Century AirCenter.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Current FAA Certified Flight Instructor (Single-Engine Land) (CFI)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII)
  • C-172 / Cirrus Experience
  • Dual Given
  • G1000
  • High Performance

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
