The Human Resource Analyst position is responsible for managing a broad range of human resource and payroll activities for multiple departments and/or units within the College of Arts and Sciences. The incumbent serves as the primary point of contact and HR resource for assigned departments, providing guidance and support to directors, department heads/chairs, managers, supervisors, faculty, staff, and student employees.
This position provides consultation and guidance on federal, state, and university human resource policies, procedures, and guidelines and supports departments in areas including recruitment and hiring, onboarding, payroll, employee appointments, time and leave administration, compensation, and other HR-related processes. The Human Resource Analyst works collaboratively with college leadership, departmental administrators, and central university offices to ensure HR and payroll activities are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with applicable policies and requirements.
