Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently, interact professionally to accomplish complex interdependent technical objectives. Certified IT support, wide knowledge of software applications, knowledge of system administration for multiple platforms. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field preferred. An Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field and 3 years of experience in maintenance of hardware and software for multiple users may be substituted for a BS degree. Eight years of appropriate experience in maintenance of hardware and software for multiple users may be substituted for a BS degree. A minimum of 1 year of experience in configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software programs.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
