Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine is in search of an Instructional Designer. This is an ITD position providing support in teaching through course development and design, testing methods, software support for DVM students, special projects associated with instruction, and software application training for CVM faculty and staff.
Assist Instructional Designer II in support of all instruction/teaching software used in the CVM including LMS (creating, maintaining, providing support for all online courses in the college), MS Office products, reference software, formatting for publications, audience response system, photo editing, web conferencing, lecture capture, provide closed captioning to CVM videos, and some video editing. Provide support in the classrooms with lecture captures, software issues, and online exams. Assist the Student Services Coordinator in DVM Certificate program.
Facilitate learning of software applications with formal and informal training sessions for faculty and staff. Provide feedback and how-to tutorials, creating documentation as needed. Provide support to faculty and staff on how to use technology such as, classroom equipment, scanning equipment, iPads, tablets, and other devices. Train incoming students on software and applications that will be used in their 4-yr program. Develop course files and notes in electronic form for students in all classes.
