About This Role

This position provides administrative support to the department, program directors, project coordinator, and department head. This position also provides assistance to current and prospective students, thereby aiding retention, enrollment management, and student success.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires one year of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of computers, office equipment, software, and operating systems
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office/365 or Google Workspace
  • Some post-high school education
  • Experience in an academic setting
  • Knowledge of university academic policies, procedures, and recordkeeping systems
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, students, alumni, and other stakeholders
  • Two years of relevant work experience

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
