What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience. Various licensure is required; exact
    licensure is dependent upon job duties assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification and/or training in laser safety and previous experience as a Radiation Safety Officer.
    Previous experience in a research intensive higher educational setting.

Other Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license upon hire.
     
  • Must have/maintain 40 hour HazWoper certification upon hire or within first year of employment.
     
  • Respond as needed for the Emergency Response Team.
  • Requires enrollment in the hazmat medical
    surveillance program and respiratory protection program.
  • Must be medically cleared to use related PPE,
    including SCBA.
     
  • EHS has rotating shared on-call 24/7 responsibilities.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
