About This Role

This position is a member of the Student Services unit within the Office of the Registrar and utilizes a teamwork approach to ensure that the office is providing quality service while adhering to University policies and procedures. Comprehensive knowledge of all academic records and data across all platforms. Work requires the ability to routinely communicate effectively with members of the public, students, parents, faculty, staff, departmental chairpersons, and other university personnel.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and five years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of work experience and education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher Education/post-secondary experience: two years progressively
    responsible experience in Enrollment Management (Admissions, Financial Aid, and
    Registrar) or experiences directly related to the area of expertise that interacts with these offices' business processes.
  • Knowledge of student records maintenance, registration/enrollment processes, degree and graduation processes, and verification procedures.
  • Experience working with multiple policies and procedures, including university, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people from all levels and backgrounds at the University, including students, families, and faculty members—successful candidates must excel in this area and will be able to demonstrate their ability to do this exceptionally well in challenging contexts.
  • Working knowledge of Student Information Systems and technology platform(s) - i.e., PeopleSoft/Oracle, uAchieve/DARS, Imaging (Perceptive/ImageNow), National Student Clearinghouse, etc.
  • Exercise independent judgment in evaluating situations, making decisions, and quickly grasping new techniques and updates to products/processes.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, providing training and technical development, public speaking, presentations, and customer service in higher education-related areas.
