About This Role: |
The Executive Director of Powercat Financial will provide the strategic vision and leadership for advancing a comprehensive approach to improving the financial well-being of all students at Kansas State University. To ensure a blending of administrative and academic services, the incumbent will have a joint appointment within two major units – Powercat Financial (Division of Academic Success and Student Affairs) and Personal Financial Planning (College of Health and Human Sciences). The Executive Director will hold a faculty title in Personal Financial Planning, with rank depending on candidate credentials. Specific initiatives include supporting high schools in implementing new financial literacy education requirements, supporting prospective students in developing a college financial plan, integrating financial well-being content into course curriculum, and growing student access to peer-to-peer financial counseling services. The successful candidate will serve as a leader and convener, directly supervising a dedicated team, as well as facilitating continued partnerships across a multi-campus system, and various stakeholders in Kansas. |
