Though there are many ways Veterinary Assistants provide support, some of the key ways are through enhancing help during busy surgery schedules, assisting with teaching opportunities, and helping with research projects. Individuals in this role will also provide meaningful support through maintaining inventory, organizing necessary equipment, and monitoring and assisting in basic aspects of patient care.
