Kansas Forest Service is hiring a full-time District Community Forester position for the southeast district of the Community Forestry Program. The position supports the Community Forestry Program by assisting communities in planning, managing, education/outreach and developing tree resources to improve environmental, economic, ecological, social, beautification and recreational benefits. Responsibilities include: • Providing community forestry technical assistance to communities and partners of the southeast district. • Planning, developing, and conducting a balanced full-service forestry program to meet the needs of the resource and communities in a positive and professional manner. • Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with federal, state and local agencies, and organizations on forestry related programs. Incumbent delivers community forestry services with limited direct supervision. Approximately 50% of the time will be spent in the field, travel is routine with occasional overnight travel for special duties and training. The equine internship at the Veterinary Health Center is a 12-month post-DVM clinical program that provides clinical training in equine surgery, internal medicine, theriogenology and field service. Nutrition assistants support the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program's (EFNEP) mission of providing personalized nutrition education to youth and families with limited resources. This position will involve planning and preparing for events, teaching clients about health and nutrition, keeping records, and recruiting families who could benefit from joining EFNEP. This position will serve youth and families in Wyandotte County and is based in Kansas City, KS.

The Director of ASC Operations and Strategic Initiatives provides leadership, communication, training and oversight of strategic initiatives and business process changes for the Administrative Support Center (ASC). The Director will develop relevant service center plans to ensure continuous improvement is achieved and ensure service standards are consistently met as well as provide ongoing project leadership and coordination across all ASC teams for strategic initiatives.

Food Service Workers make good food and service happen for K-State students. These part-time temporary positions function as part of a FUN cohesive team providing meals in a Residence Hall Dining facility. Duties relating to service or production may be assigned. Work shifts may vary.
Facilities Maintenance Supervisor	Manhattan, Kansas	On-site requirement
FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR: Working supervisor position for events and facilities; provide leadership and direction regarding maintenance in assigned areas; responsible for facility operation; prioritize, track and execute work orders in a timely fashion; perform minor electrical repairs; schedule and perform preventative maintenance; initiate and oversee minor repair projects; maintain grounds; train part-time staff regarding day-to-day operations procedures; respond to emergencies outside of normal work hours; and responsible for daily and event operations of assigned facilities which entails working varied hours and schedules.
