About This Role:

The IACUC Program Coordinator oversees the IACUC review process and has oversight of administrative functions of the IACUC committee. This position is responsible for assuring that the University maintains compliance with various federal regulations regarding animal research activities.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree.
  • One to three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science degree in Microbiology, Virology, Animal Science, or other life sciences degree.
  • Experience in developing and leading research related training.
  • Proven communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory environment covered by entities such as: NIH, USDA, AAALAC, OLAW, etc.
  • Ability to work independently, identify and set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Certification in research animal technical or professional training, certified professional IACUC administrator (CPIA).

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$65,000 - $70,000 Annually
