About This Role

The College of Education’s Center for Student Success and Professional Services at Kansas State University is seeking a dedicated Academic Advisor to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting undergraduate students by assessing their needs, developing and coordinating advising and intervention strategies, and monitoring their academic progress. The Academic Advisor will guide students through academic program requirements, university policies, and essential processes to help them navigate their undergraduate journey successfully.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and one year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use current technologies.
• MA/MS in school counseling, student personnel services, or academic advising degree/certificate.
• Experience in K-12 teaching and/or higher education.

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
