About This Role

The Academic Program Specialist serves in the College of Arts & Sciences Deans Office Center for Student Success & Engagement. The incumbent will be responsible for greeting students and visitors, academic and student correspondence, KSIS updates, student records, and supporting student events. This position will report to the Assistant Director I of Academic Student Services within the Student Success and Engagement Office.

This position is On-site.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma and four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant experience.
a. Two or more years experience in general office and administrative support work.
b. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing including editing.
c. Demonstrated experience in customer service.
d. Demonstrated ability to be highly-organized and detail-oriented.
e. Experience working on a computer and demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.)
f. Ability to handle multiple priorities
g. The ability to make independent decisions when necessary.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
