About This Role

This position is responsible for executing timely, accurate and compliant accounting transactions, managing funds, and supporting budgeting for multiple administrative units. The Coordinator will be in direct communication with department administrators to support travel and other expenses, deposit revenue, and provide useful routine and ad-hoc reports, financial data, budget updates, procurement guidance, and grant compliance. The successful Coordinator will establish strong working relationships with unit personnel and will provide outstanding customer service to meet their units' business needs.

Worksite Description

This position is Hybrid eligible. This position is hybrid eligible; however, we require the first 90 days to be 100% on-site. After that period, hybrid eligibility will be evaluated based on individual performance.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One year of relevant experience
  • Educational equivalency may be used as determined relevant by the hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Experience in professional accounting/auditing work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, time management, problem-
    solving, and math skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency with computers, especially accounting software, strong typing skills
  • High level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency, especially when multitasking
