About This Role

Kansas State University College of Education is seeking applicants for a full time data analyst. The IDEA MEP (Migrant Education Program) Data Analyst will ensure data integrity, compliance, and collaboration across multiple platforms, including local school district databases and specialized systems, including MIS2000 and MSIX. The position will ensure program accuracy, streamline reporting, and empower staff through training and technical support, to enhance services for migrant students across Kansas.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Familiarity with Title I Part C Director Spreadsheet, CRDC (Civil Rights Data Collection) Report, State level Comprehensive Needs Assessments (CNA), State Performance Report (SPR), State Evaluation Report, and Compliance Monitoring, including eligibility, recruitment, and service delivery.
• Experience working with seasonal farm working students and families eligible for Title I Part C services.
• Experience in educational data management within Kansas public schools, ideally with federal program management, specifically Title I Part C programs.
• Knowledge of MIS2000 and MSIX systems, IDRC (MEP identification and recruitment consortium) Referral Tool, Home Language and Occupational Surveys.
• Experience or coursework related to education data systems or student information systems such as Skyward, Compass, Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, or similar.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
