About This Role

As a Business Analyst II, you will play a critical role in enhancing operational effectiveness across the Division by leading business analysis efforts, supporting system implementations, improving business processes, and ensuring exceptional customer support experiences. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that advance the division's strategic goals.

Primary duties of this role include:
• Serve as a liaison between Financial Services, business partners, and technology teams to support operational and strategic goals.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and process improvements.
• Evaluate business processes and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience.
• Lead functional aspects of projects, system implementations, upgrades, and testing efforts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business needs are aligned with system capabilities.
• Develop training materials, documentation, and support change management initiatives.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Oversee customer support processes and use data and feedback to improve service delivery.
• Facilitate communication, build partnerships, and provide recommendations that support informed decision-making

Worksite Description

This position is Hybrid eligible. This position is hybrid eligible; however, the first 90 days are required to be 100% on-site. After that period, hybrid eligibility may be granted based on individual performance, with a requirement of three days on-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience.
  • Education beyond the minimum degree requirement may count toward required experience if deemed relevant by the hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting financial, accounting, procurement, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Experience with process mapping and business process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and system implementation practices.
  • Experience developing training programs and supporting organizational change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with reporting, data analysis, dashboards, and KPI development.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams committed to outstanding customer service and business outcomes.
