About This Role

The purpose of this position is to ensure that the facility remains clean, sanitary, and well-organized by performing both laundry and general cleaning duties. This role supports a comfortable, hygienic, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, or staff by efficiently processing laundry items, maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas, and upholding standards of privacy, safety, and respect. Duties include:

· Wash, dry, fold, iron, and organize laundry, including linens, towels, uniforms, and other items.

· Operate laundry machines and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.

· Treat stains and handle delicate fabrics appropriately.

· Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and request reorders when needed.

· Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

· Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces as required.

· Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.

· Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

· Maintain a high level of privacy and respect for personal property.

· Report maintenance issues or damages promptly.

· Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed.

  • No minimum requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in laundry, ironing, housekeeping, or janitorial work is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move items for extended periods.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of confidentiality.
