About This Role

This position provides timely, accurate laboratory results by following Lafene laboratory procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements. This position is also responsible for updating, maintaining, and problem solving laboratory information systems (LIS). Including interfaces for instruments, reference laboratories, faxing programs, and Lafene Health Center EMR.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Medical Laboratory Scientist with a bachelor’s degree in chemical, laboratory or biological sciences.

-OR-

  • Medical Laboratory Technician with a bachelor’s degree in chemical, laboratory or biological sciences and must have 4 years of experience in high complexity testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic computer knowledge to include simple hardware setup, program interface requirements, database creation and maintenance, and problem solving.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be nationally certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician.+
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
