This position serves as an assistant to the Office Specialist III. It also serves as Parking Services’ first and sometimes only contact for campus visitors, vendors, departments and employees.

About This Role

This position serves as an assistant to the Office Specialist III. It also serves as Parking Services’ first and sometimes only contact for campus visitors, vendors, departments and employees. Prompt and accurate directions and communication are necessary. Serves as back up dispatcher. This person will also assist with events when needed.

About Us

Parking Services is fully a self-funded department whose primary objective is to provide adequate parking for all visitors, faculty, staff, and students of K-State. The department takes a customer service first approach when interacting and providing services to the public.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires one year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, minimum one year customer service and computer experience in an office setting.
  • Experience with: multi-line phone system, two-way radio, computer terminal and keyboard, copier with fax and scanner.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
