About This Role

The position supports the School of Accountancy and the Department of Finance by managing daily operations, coordinating communication, and delivering comprehensive administrative services essential to both academic units. This position exercises independent judgment in overseeing office functions, supporting faculty and students, managing academic and enrollment processes, coordinating events, and maintaining compliance with university policies and procedures. The role also provides specialized support for School of Accountancy accreditation and reporting requirements. Assists with departmental initiatives, advisory boards, and represents both units to internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires two years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of work experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational skills, ability to create graphic design elements, and knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to set up an event venue and transport relevant materials, such as event posters, displays, etc.
  • At least one year experience in general office support.
  • At least one year experience in successful event planning and management.

Additional Role Information:

  • Eligible to become a Notary Public within six months of appointment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range
