About This Role

The position is a Parking Control Officer. The position includes: writing tickets on vehicles that are in violation of Parking Rules and Regulations, towing of vehicles that are excessive or illegally parked and working special events such as football games. Extensive training is given to each employee when they start working and staff meetings are held. Employee is expected to work with little or no supervision most of the time.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of parking services or relevant work experience.
  • Good written and oral communications skills.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Good organizational abilities.

Additional Role Information:

  • Upon employment, training with new software, hardware, and equipment adapted by the department is required.
  • Work occasionally requires moderate to considerable physical exertion handling snow and ice melt during inclement weather.

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
