About This Role

Powercat Financial has three key programs that are supported by this role: Our award-winning peer-to-peer financial counseling programming, financial education workshops across campus, and high school financial literacy efforts throughout the State of Kansas. The Program/Project Administrator will provide project management and coordination for Powercat Financial programming and administrative support for the Executive Director and the Director of a new personal finance-connected institute.

Powercat Financial is Kansas State University’s interdisciplinary university-wide program to support financial well-being for our students and our community. We’re committed to equipping every student with the tools they need for financial success.

Powercat Financial provides students FREE assistance and counseling on personal finances. Peer counselors support fellow students on budgeting, saving, credit, student loan repayment, and transitioning to work.

 

Worksite Description

This position is On-site. On-site 5 days per week

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree.
  •  One year of relevant experience. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administrative support and project coordination
  • Proficiency in project management software and office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Project Management software, creating grant spreadsheets).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Adaptable to the evolving project priorities.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to meeting project goals.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
