About This Role

The College of Veterinary Medicine within Kansas State University is looking for an Operations Coordinator. This position is responsible for daily operations of Wildcat Corner, a retail store located in the College of Veterinary Medicine. This includes managing new and existing inventory, setting pricing, online order coordination, and daily deposit reconciliation.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field
  • 3 years relevant experience in managing a retail operation with a comprehensive understanding of retail operations, merchandising and customer service best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to identify operational challenges and develop effective solutions
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities
  • Customer-centric approach and a strong sales ability to achieve business objectives
  • Basic financial knowledge to manage budgets and analyze store performance metrics
  • Team-oriented work philosophy
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products
