About This Role

The College of Architecture, Planning and Design Dean's Office is seeking a Program/Project Coordinator to join our dedicated Student and Academic Services team to manage APDPro professional development co-curricular program for students, mentoring and career development programs withing the college. This position provides career development support to students and supports recruitment activities including meeting with prospective students and families. Additionally, the role involves event planning, collaboration on communications, and leading efforts to enhance student experiences and success rates.

The College of Architecture, Planning and Design (APDesign) consists of students, faculty and alumni across all disciplines, united by a shared passion for design. We offer a variety of programs in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, regional and community planning, and environmental design. Our programs teach students to collaborate with their peers, constantly try new approaches to problems and redefine the traditional boundaries of design. APDesign ranks nationally every year in several categories according to DesignIntelligence Rankings. Our students and faculty continue to represent APDesign and K-State across the nation receiving numerous awards and commendations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years progressively responsible experience in related area within higher education
  • Knowledge and affinity for architecture, design and planning professions
  • Experience managing or creating marketing and communication pieces, social media and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Proven record of organizational, project management and administrative skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range

$42,216 - $53,819 annually
