The Psychological Sciences Department is seeking a Full-Time Research Assistant, to help with research for Dr. Maria Diehl. The lab research assistant will help with experimental projects; assist with ordering supplies, maintaining updated inventory and lab records, and shares duties with other lab members to handle and care for research animals, run behavioral experiments, collect data, and maintain an organized research lab. The research assistant will also assist with tissue processing, performing tissue assays, and taking microscope pictures.
The Department of Psychological Sciences, which is part of the College of Arts and Sciences, has 20 full-time faculty members and about 500 undergraduate majors. Our teaching faculty focus on excellent teaching (four courses per semester) but also have opportunities for research and service activities.
