About This Role

The Student ERP Systems Manager serves as the lead functional and technical expert responsible for the configuration, development, testing, and implementation of enterprise student systems, primarily the Student Information System (SIS). This position provides SIS system leadership and oversight for multiple Enrollment Management (EM) units, including the Office of the Registrar and Student Financial Assistance. As such, the position seeks to leverage delivered ERP tools/processes to automate and operationalize desired business process outcomes by these administrative, functional offices. The role manages assigned SIS modules, leads system upgrades and enhancements, and ensures the efficiency, accuracy and integrity of student systems and processes. The incumbent collaborates extensively with functional stakeholders and central IT. This position also oversees system access, documentation and communication of SIS-related updates and enhancements across EM units.

This position is Remote required. Monday-Friday Remote

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience. Education beyond the minimum degree requirement may count toward required experience if deemed relevant by the hiring manager. The degree requirement ensures candidates possess the advanced programming knowledge, systems thinking and problem-solving skills essential for leading complex software development projects and maintaining technical standards. These competencies are typically developed and rigorously validated only through the comprehensive curriculum and experiential learning inherent in a formal degree program.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with reporting tools (Oracle BI Publisher, SQL, Tableau), ERP systems (especially cloud-based), and student information systems like Oracle Campus Solutions or PeopleSoft, including development tools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR) and integrations (APIs, SQRs).
  • Higher Education Expertise: In-depth knowledge of higher education business processes and the student lifecycle, with at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in Enrollment Management or related areas.
  • System Management & Project Leadership: Over 5 years managing SIS platforms, with demonstrated ERP system administration, data management, and integration experience. Proven track record in project management, especially large-scale implementations or upgrades.
  • Interpersonal & Analytical Skills: Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment
