About This Role

This position exists to assist with providing quality assistance for client/teaching/research animals in the VHC. This is a position primarily assigned to provide assistance with the Exotics Department on a daily basis, whether it is to enhance help for a busy surgery schedule, to assist with teaching, or to help with a research project.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • One year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience as a veterinary assistant providing patient care.
  • Ability to handle, restrain, and provide medical treatments to domestic animals.
  • Experience in a client services position (i.e. sales or customer service).

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
