About This Role: |
The Agronomy Department at Kansas State University is looking for a Program/Project Manager I to coordinate an interdisciplinary research team in seven states for a Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research (FFAR) funded project, Increasing Water Productivity, Soil Carbon, and Sustainability of Integrated Multi-Crop Systems Using Field-Scale Research. Bayer Crop Science is the lead industry partner. The person will collaborate with the Project Director on project management, administrative, and implementation issues and maintain clear communication with collaborators on all project performance and implementation aspects. The person will also facilitate and provide leadership in organizing and scheduling monthly project conference calls, annual project meetings, and Advisory Board meetings with the project principal investigators and the project director. |

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: |
$52,530 - $84,006 Actual salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, education, internal equity and departmental funding. Salary offers are typically made between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range. The range indicated includes both the typical hiring range and potential future progression.) |
