About This Role:

The Staley School of Leadership at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, is seeking candidates for a building and events assistant.  This position is a 12-month position. This role is in-person and will primarily support activities in the Leadership Studies Building. This individual will also support Staley School operations in other locations across the Manhattan campus and support the Staley School of Leadership in ways that reflect its values-based mission of developing knowledgeable, ethical, caring, inclusive leaders for a diverse and changing world. What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Proactive and has ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals
  • Demonstrated proficiency with technology and computer programs (i.e., Microsoft Office software, Zoom, Asana)
  • Experience coordinating events within or supporting a collegiate or academic setting

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$20.67 - $23.08 hr
