About This Role

Supports department head, academic advisors, and graduate and undergraduate program directors. Provides daily contact with faculty/staff to coordinate advising and degree program processes, scheduling meetings, travel arrangements and routine correspondence. Student contact is daily, planning, directing and coordinating student visits and handling student programmatic inquiries.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma and four years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Over one year of office and clerical support work preferred
  • Experience in university and/or academic institutions
  • Strong interpersonal listening skills and abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and complete multiple projects and tasks while collaborating effectively with others
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Computer/Technology skills: MS Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, database applications. K-State
  • Systems such as eForms and KSIS will be used frequently, prior knowledge of these systems is a plus but not required
