Worksite Option

This position is on-site.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in nuclear engineering, materials science and engineering, or a closely related field
  • Expertise in nuclear materials, including state-of-the art computational modeling and materials characterization methods
  • Established record of obtaining extramural funding and publishing in areas of research relevant for developing and deploying advanced nuclear power (e.g., nuclear fuel development, nuclear waste management, radiation effects on materials, nanomaterials for nuclear, and radiation processing)
  • Applicants with backgrounds in any area related to advanced nuclear reactor enabling technologies will be considered
