About This Role

K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a Director of Compliance who will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring NCAA bylaw 15 legislation, including monitoring team and individual scholarship limits, oversee book scholarship program, coordinate scholarship stipends, assist with administration of performance table, prepare rules education materials and presentations to deliver to various mediums to coaches, staff, student-athletes and others, coordinate NLI program, prepare financial aid agreements, and assist with monitoring NCAA bylaw 11 and 16.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree at time of application.
  • One year of full-time experience working in college athletics.
  • Experience using LSDBi and RSRO, and other applicable NCAA programs and computer software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; and
  • Ability to make independent, informed and decisive decisions in a demanding environment.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree (Masters or Doctorate)
  • Experience working with NCAA bylaws 11, 15 and 16
  • Experience working in NCAA compliance
  • Experience working in compliance at a NCAA Division 1 institution
