What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA, CIA) or ability to obtain a certification within one year of starting employment 
  • Commitment to collegiality and demonstrated ability to work as an effective and collaborative team member
  • Master's Degree in Accounting from an AACSB accredited business school
  • Professional experience in accounting discipline

The degree requirement is necessary for accreditation purposes and to ensure candidates possess the specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities that can only be attained through a formal educational program at this level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting student learning and development experience
  • University level teaching experience in accounting or business

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
