About This Role

The Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University is offering a 12-month post-DVM internship with a teaching emphasis in livestock. The objectives of this internship are to teach and provide clinical experience for Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine students.

The internship will provide clinical experience working with all livestock species (bovine, ovine, caprine, porcine and camelids) in, ambulatory (field service), hospital (referral) and emergency (afterhours) clinical practice. The objective of this internship is to advance clinical skills and diagnostic capabilities of interns through direct interaction with veterinarians specializing in internal medicine, field service, and production medicine.

This position is On-site.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • DVM or equivalent (Graduate of a College of Veterinary Medicine)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Kansas Veterinary License
