About This Role

This position will be responsible for working with the procurement officer I and procurement assistant currently employed.  Performing the tasks of assisting with the inventory system by receiving incoming supply orders, doing product received counts, scanning product bar codes and shelving product to proper location(s).  Acting as a back-up for the ordering of supply products, including CO2 gas tanks and laboratory supply items.  Pulling supply products for laboratory sections to assure that each section has the needed products for all there testing requirements. This position will also be a back-up for sterile processing for KVDL.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science
  • Experience/education in the field of Animal Science and corresponding vocabulary and physiology
  • One year experience in a laboratory procedures and analysis and/or education in natural sciences

Other Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
