About This Role:

The University Research Compliance Office at Kansas State University is hiring a Program Associate. The office facilitates the Animal Care and Use (IACUC) program, Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), Institutional Review Board (IRB), and is involved with matters of Research Compliance and Security, Export Controls, and Responsible Conduct of Research. This position requires project coordination, attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues across the University.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Two years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good oral and written communication skills in English, to effectively give and receive instructions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • A high level of organizational skills and effective time management, initiative, responsibility and judgement are required as well as the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) is preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$18.04- $20.44 hourly
