The Division of Biology seeks a Research Technician to assist with contracts provided by state and federal agencies to conduct biological surveys of rivers and reservoirs in Kansas. In addition, this position assists in the analysis of data and writing annual and final reports.

Worksite Option

This role is expected to be performed on-site. Work is performed on employee premises or designated assignment location.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires high school diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. in ecology, wildlife management, conservation, or other related field
  • Valid drivers license
  • Curatorial experience for wild mammals
  • Experience conducting field work
  • Data management experience

Other Requirements:

  • Have a valid driver license
