This position is responsible for capturing, producing, and editing content across all social and digital media platforms for the main Kansas State University accounts and potential contributions to traditional communications. The role requires demonstrated ability in photography, videography, and photo and video editing to develop high-quality, engaging content. It requires close collaboration with all units within the Division of Communications and Marketing as well as colleges and other units to ensure alignment in messaging, voice, and brand presentation.
The purpose of this position is to advance the prominence of Kansas State University and support strategic enrollment strategies by communicating news and information about the university to a wide range of audiences.
The Division of Communications and Marketing team offers a variety of services to assist you with your marketing and communications needs. Our team takes a collaborative approach in our work with all university units, ensuring your marketing and communications efforts are aligned with institutional priorities and university policies/guidelines. Additionally, we support key university initiatives by preparing communications toolkits and materials that empower you to lend your voice directly to the cause.
