About This Role

The Training and Development Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and leading a comprehensive training program that supports the University’s central business services. This position ensures that faculty and staff across campus have the knowledge, skills, and resources to effectively navigate business and procurement processes. The role combines expertise in instructional design, business operations, and change management to deliver training that is accessible, engaging, and aligned with the University’s mission and strategic goals. This position plays a key role in building a culture of efficiency, compliance, and collaboration across the University. By equipping campus units with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate business and procurement services, the Training and Development Consultant reduces administrative burden, enhances compliance, and supports the University’s mission.

Worksite Description

This position is Hybrid eligible. This position is hybrid eligible; however, we require the first 90 days to be 100% on-site. After that period, hybrid eligibility will be evaluated based on individual performance.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Three years of relevant experience.
  • This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring
    manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in managing and/or developing training programs.
  • Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written Leadership skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse population.
  • Prior experience writing and presenting new policy and procedures.
  • Prior experience with project management and implementation.
  • Ability to review and analyze data outputs.
  • Other professional qualifications relating to training, project management and/or coaching.
  • Ability to understand and implement best practice business processes.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
