About This Role

The Tutoring Services Manager plays an integral role in retention and persistence of students across K-State campus. As the central learning center on campus, the Academic Achievement Center Tutoring Services provides tutoring to all students for a plurality of content areas from math and physics to kinesiology and geography. Tutoring Services prides itself on being a free service that doesn't just give students an answer but helps them discover the learning process.

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide day-to-day operations for the Tutoring Services program. This includes recommending, coordinating, and implementing tutoring policies, procedures, trainings, and schedules. Data collection, assessment, and reporting are also critical for continued support and promotion of the program.

Additionally, this role will engage in prompting, advancing, and improving the tutoring culture on K-State's campus through forming partnerships with other services on campus, crafting new messaging about tutoring, and directly reaching out to students in new ways.

About Us
