About This Role:

The Academic Program Specialist assists the Student Access Center (SAC) with daily administrative office support and accommodation-related tasks. The position staffs the office front desk and is the first contact students, parents, and faculty have with the SAC. The Program Specialist communicates in person, by phone, email, and through a specialized accommodation management system called AIM. The employee will be required to perform general office duties as well as some specialized tasks. All work is done in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Rehabilitation Act, and Fair Housing Act.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Four years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Conduct effective, clear, and courteous communication with visitors via email, phone, and in person.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$18.04 - $20.44 per hour ($37,527.00 - $42,515.20 annually)
