About This Role:

The Recruitment Coordinator will be primarily responsible for building relationships with high schools, community colleges, and business-focused student groups, along with developing programs that will assist with the recruitment of new students to the college. The Recruitment Coordinator will support the college’s recruiting efforts in a variety of ways, including the development of new programs and events within the College of Business.

This unclassified non-exempt position is benefits eligible: health insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, tuition assistance program, paid time off-vacation, sick, and holidays.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the college recruiting process including new student communications and programming
  • Experience working with high school and community college instructors and advisors
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, and  strong attention to details
  • Ability to work independently as well as within groups 
  • Proficiency in Office software, especially Excel
  • Ability to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, as needed, for programs and activities
  • Valid driver’s license is required

Salary Range:

$37,410-57,980 ($17.98-$27.88 per hour)

Please note: The minimum salary for this position is $37,410. Actual salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, internal equity, and departmental funding. Salary offers are typically made between the $37,410 and $47,690 of the salary range. The range indicated includes both the typical hiring range and potential future progression.
