About This Role

The Accounting Coordinator provides financial and accounting support to the Provost Business Office and its customer departments. This role involves preparing, reconciling, and maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with university policies, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Accounting Coordinator is the primary business liaison for customer departments and collaborates closely with departments to manage accounts, support grant activities, and handle budgetary and procurement processes.

This position is On-site.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and five years of relevant experience.
  • Requirements may be met through a combination of work experience and education.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Two years of experience in accounting, budgeting, or financial reporting.
  •  Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., Concur, FIS, or similar).
  •  Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
